Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks an experienced Sales Engineer for DoW, traveling to support customers with tailored RF/multi-antenna solutions. You will demonstrate products, train customers, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to drive growth.

The role reports to the Director of Sales Engineering and offers potential remote work depending on location. A strong technical foundation and customer-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with at least 2 years in pre- and post-sales technical support; or High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years in pre- and post-sales technical support.
• Proficiency with radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Become an expert on Silvus' radio and networking solutions and advantages.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and abnormalities and report feedback to development.
• Assist design engineers to reproduce and troubleshoot problems.
• Travel for meetings, events, and demonstrations as required.
