Job summary

AngelList Venture is seeking a Sales Engineer for its New York office to develop and maintain demo environments that showcase Basis's accounting solutions. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance, with strong automation skills in Excel and Python.

The position offers a full-time contract, a compensation range of $125K–$200K, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in accounting, audit, tax, or a related finance function.
• Hands-on experience automating tasks using Excel and Python.
• Detail-oriented and self-directed, managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Basis demo environments for accounting workflows.
• Automate repetitive tasks using the Basis platform.
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
