Sales Engineer - Automation Components (Sensors, Encoders, Switches)

Are you a driven Sales Engineer with a strong network in the Automation space? Do you have a proven track record of selling sensors, encoders, switches, and related components into OEMs, machine builders, distributors, and end users? If so, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow market share within the automation industry
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with OEMs, machine builders, and distributors
  • Actively hunt for new business while nurturing existing accounts
  • Provide technical support and product recommendations tailored to customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy

About You:

  • Proven success in a technical sales role, ideally within automation, control, or industrial components
  • Strong knowledge of sensors, encoders, switches, and related products
  • Existing network of contacts within OEMs, machine builders, and/or distributors
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Technically minded with the ability to understand customer requirements and provide consultative solutions
  • Willingness to travel as required to support customers across your territory
