Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical expert during sales calls, demos, and procurement conversations
  • Support implementation processes with clear, credible technical input
Deliver High‑Impact Product Demos
  • Lead live product demonstrations tailored to customer‑specific geographies, corridors, and use cases
  • Showcase Urban SDK’s platform modules, including speed data, traffic analytics, safety insights, and automated workflows
  • Translate complex data into clear outcomes for transportation engineers, planners, public works teams, law enforcement officials, and city/county leaders
Apply Transportation & GIS Expertise
  • Connect traffic, safety, and planning concepts to real‑world platform use cases
  • Explain data sources, methodologies, and validation in a way that builds trust with public agencies
  • Answer technical questions related to GIS layers, dashboards, reporting, and analytics workflows
Collaborate Internally
  • Ensure clean technical handoffs from Sales to Implementation
  • Share customer feedback with Product and Implementation teams
  • Contribute to demo best practices and sales enablement materials
Qualifications
Required
  • 3–7+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Pre‑Sales role within a SaaS environment
  • Experience supporting sales to government, municipal, or public‑sector customers
  • Working knowledge of GIS concepts (spatial data, mapping, visualization)
  • Strong ability to demo software to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort in customer‑facing roles
Preferred
