Jobot in Houston is seeking a High Growth LV and MV Switchgear Sales Engineer to drive key contractor and end-user accounts in the Houston market.
You will develop and expand relationships, sell engineered electrical equipment on large commercial or industrial projects, lead complex proposals, and negotiate multi‑million‑dollar opportunities. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred and 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
Salary: $140,000 - $225,000 per year

Are you already known by electrical contractors, consulting engineers, end users, or EPC firms across the Houston market?
This is a true relationship-driven sales role focused on developing and growing key contractor and end-user accounts while managing complex project opportunities from specification through award.
Develop and expand relationships with major electrical contractors, EPC firms, consulting engineers, distributors, and end users throughout the Houston market.
Drive sales of custom power distribution solutions including MV/LV switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, and engineered electrical systems.
Identify, qualify, and pursue large project opportunities from early design through final procurement.
Build comprehensive project quotations and complete equipment packages that solve customer requirements.
Lead commercial negotiations while maintaining long‑term strategic customer relationships.
Partner with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution after award.
Maintain an active sales pipeline, forecast future business, and develop strategic account growth plans.
Become a trusted technical and commercial advisor for customers navigating complex power distribution projects.
Electrical Engineering Degree Preferred.
5+ years selling medium- or low-voltage electrical distribution equipment.
Existing relationships with electrical contractors, consulting engineers, industrial end users, utilities, data centers, or EPC firms.
Experience selling engineered electrical equipment on large commercial or industrial projects.
Ability to assemble and present complex project proposals and negotiate multi‑million‑dollar opportunities.
Strong technical aptitude combined with exceptional relationship-building and business development skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred but equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
