Job description

Under general supervision develops and implements strategies in support of sales force and corporate initiatives appropriate to sales segments and unique go-to-market, sales support, digital content and development needs.

Within FedEx Global Sales Enablement, we do not measure success by training hours logged or assets viewed. We measure success by seller productivity, win rates, and commercial velocity.

As a Sales Enablement Specialist on the Information Design: Communications team, you’ll serve as a communications editor, content strategist, and advocate for the FedEx Sales organization. You’re not just sending updates; you’re orchestrating how our global sales force receives, processes, and acts upon critical business needs. You're equipping them with the information, positioning, and guidance to best serve our customers.

If you have a passion for message design, thrive in a rapid-fire environment, and want to own a piece of the communication/content strategy that helps a global sales team win, this role is built for you.

Essential Functions
  • Empowers sales team to execute by ensuring internal organizational buy-in, leveraging innovative sales enablement practices, translating the sales strategy to actionable plans and courses of action.
  • Helps drive complex sales solutions by translating business requirements into solution requirements, coordinating expertise, scoping, and defining delivery and managing deployment timelines.
  • Defines actionable plans and courses of action for change programs, digital content and communications for program readiness and rollout.
  • Assesses the effectiveness and positive impact of solutions and communicates the results to stakeholders and Executive Leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Design global and U.S. sales communications/content, ensuring all messages are clear, timely, and aligned with commercial priorities. Safeguard seller bandwidth by filtering out low-value distraction and prioritizing high-impact business directives.
  • Seamlessly connect email “push” channels to longer-term “pull” content in our sales enablement platform. Act as the single, cohesive architect for key initiatives across both push and pull channels. You will own the entire lifecycle of a communication (from writing the initial high-impact email to designing the corresponding long-term reference content).
  • Define, test, and document the SOP for how content flows seamlessly from active email communications into the sales enablement platform. You will establish the standardized processes and handoffs that make this unified channel strategy repeatable, efficient, and scalable across global teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day global service impacts communications to Sales, delivering rapid, accurate updates on global network events so sellers can proactively manage client relationships. Maintain judgment to elevate highly complex, broad-scope, or high-risk impacts to senior communicators.
  • Exceptional adaptability, with agility to pivot instantly when business-critical priorities shift. You thrive in a highly fluid environment where sudden network updates or operational changes require you to immediately adjust your focus and orchestrate a response under tight timelines.
  • Actively use and champion digital tools, including Poppulo, Highspot/Seismic, and Gemini agents.
  • Possess a competitive, proactive orientation that consistently asks, “How can we do this better?” and thrives under ambitious performance standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Communications, Content Strategy, Journalism, or related field
