Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Sales Enablement Manager to translate product and market strategy into practical seller readiness. This role partners with Product, Marketing, Sales Leadership, and Learning & Development to build required knowledge, skills, and confidence across Cengage’s portfolio.

You will drive targeted enablement programs, certifications, and coaching to improve seller readiness, value storytelling, and demonstration skills in market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Product Enablement, Sales Training, Product Marketing, Sales, or a related commercial role.
• Ability to translate complex product capabilities into practical, seller-focused learning and enablement.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs that build seller knowledge, skills, and confidence.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills for clear, actionable concepts.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Learning & Development teams.
• Strong project management skills with multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deliverables.
• Experience with sales enablement and learning technologies; Highspot experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate product and go-to-market strategy into sales capability with Product POMs, Marketing, and Sales.
• Develop enablement programs, trainings, and resources to connect product capabilities to customer value.
• Improve seller proficiency in CLP and product demonstrations through targeted training and practice.
• Partner with sales leaders to identify gaps and translate them into coaching priorities.
• Create coaching frameworks and practice opportunities for managers to reinforce knowledge and skills.
• Support ongoing seller development via workshops, role-plays, and field observations.
