Job summary

Alloy Personal Training in Aurora, IL, seeks a Director of Training to blend sales leadership with coaching and studio operations. You will lead our team, drive memberships, conduct consultations, and ensure smooth daily functions.

The right candidate has proven fitness sales experience, management experience, strong communication, and the ability to meet performance metrics. CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required or willingness to obtain; PT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in fitness, gyms, or personal training.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills and an outgoing, personable style.
• Comfortable with performance metrics and holding a team accountable to them.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Personal training certification a plus, but not required if sales experience is strong.

Responsibilities

• Run all prospect consultations using our established sales process.
• Manage the full sales pipeline: phone leads, booking, show rate, close rate, and attrition.
• Coach training sessions (target: ~10 hours/week) and retention touchpoints.
• Recruit, hire, and train new staff; lead weekly staff meetings and reviews.
• Oversee social media and local marketing campaigns; represent the studio at events.
• Run day-to-day studio operations: opening/closing, billing, and maintaining brand standards.
