Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a strategic healthcare SaaS sales lead with a strong track record of selling to mid-to-large healthcare organizations and an existing network across major US EHR platforms. This is a foundational commercial role with clear leadership potential as we scale our U.S. business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and close high-value partnerships with EHRs and other digital health companies to expand Synapse's market presence.
- Leverage your existing network to accelerate pipeline development and shorten sales cycles.
- Partner with executive leadership to define and iterate on pricing, segmentation, and commercial strategy.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, deeply understanding their EHR workflows and clinical priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Customer Success to shape the roadmap and client experience.
- Represent Synapse at key industry events and act as a visible voice in the health tech community.
- Play a key role in shaping team structure, tools, and hiring plans as our U.S. sales team grows.
- Over time, recruit, coach, and lead a growing sales organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years selling B2B healthcare SaaS products to healthcare technology companies or provider organizations.
- You’re someone who is comfortable running your own outbound, closing deals end-to-end, and iterating quickly with the product team on client requests and requirements
- Strong track record of exceeding quota in complex, consultative sales environments.
- Existing relationships with stakeholders at EHR vendors and/or provider organizations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience (or appetite) for building processes in a startup or high-growth environment. You thrive on ambiguity and are energized by ownership, not direction.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for conferences, on-site meetings, and industry events.
- Preferred experience:
- Leadership experience including building a team and/or managing Business Development Reps and Account Executives
- You’ve sold into or partnered with Epic, Cerner, or other top-tier EHRs.
- You’ve been a founding or early sales hire at a healthcare startup and helped build it from the ground up.

Compensation Estimate And Structure
The estimated total compensation for this role is $200k depending on a variety of factors including experience, market data, etc.
We’re looking for a high-performer and are structured to reward that. Compensation includes a generous base salary, high-impact variable structure tied to process and outcome metrics, and meaningful equity. For top performers, there’s a clear path to leadership with upside aligned to team growth and enterprise wins.
