Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency serving senior living operators and home care agencies. As Sales Director for Senior Living, you will own our largest multi-location deals, from initial ownership meetings to signed contracts. One win covers many locations, with a focus on closing complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities.

You will manage strategic accounts with annual quotas, supported by inbound leads and a focused development team, without people management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing $1M+ yearly on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to senior living groups or similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision-makers.
• Preference for closing business over managing people.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close, 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expand: add more locations and services after a group signs.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to craft proposals for the top deals.

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location senior living accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities. As Sales Director for Senior Living, you own our largest multi-location senior living deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: senior living operators with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into senior living groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.
