Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an autonomous Sales Director for Senior Living to own the largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contracts. This role targets senior living operators and home care networks with many communities, where one win can unlock growth across the entire group.

You will close $1M+ annual deals, operate without direct reports, and collaborate with our inbound team to schedule high-value meetings.

Qualifications

• Close $1M+ annual deals with multi-location senior living groups.
• Experience selling into senior living groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities. As Sales Director for Senior Living, you own our largest multi-location senior living deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: senior living operators with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into senior living groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.
