Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Director for Senior Living. This individual contributor role targets large multi-location senior living accounts, closing multi-location deals with a high annual quota.

You will work remotely from the USA or Canada, handling strategic negotiations with ownership and regional leaders. You will own the entire cycle from discovery to close, with inbound and SD teams feeding qualified meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have closed $1M+ annual revenue on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into senior living groups or similar multi-location buyers.
• Long consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers; not suited for high-volume, single-location deals.
• Prefer closed deals and growth over people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead full cycle on large deals from discovery to close over 3–12 months.
• Engage owners, regional operators and marketing leaders in deal discussions.
• Drive expansion to additional locations and services after a group signs.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to prepare high-impact proposals.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities. As Sales Director for Senior Living, you own our largest multi-location senior living deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: senior living operators with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into senior living groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.
