Job summary

Shermco Industries in the United States seeks a Sales Director for its Controls & Automation/SSI business line. You will manage four business development managers and drive growth in electrical and controls engineering consulting, project management, and field services across North America.

The role requires a strong background in industrial services sales, a track record of securing purchase orders, and strategic account management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industrial service sales experience in engineering consulting or related field.
• Experience with control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI) and industrial networks.
• 3+ years in a related industry with sales and account management focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outside sales targeting electrical and controls engineering and project management services.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with End Users, Contractors, OEMs, and Engineering firms.
• Meet or exceed annual sales budget of $50M through new and existing customers.
• Lead sales efforts by developing proposals, presentations, and estimates.
• Create and implement a sales strategy for the controls business and SSI line.
• Coordinate with marketing and service teams to support growth initiatives.
