Sales Director - EHR Solutions (Must have EHR Sales Experience)

Our client is a fast-scaling digital health company offering next-generation Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions purpose-built for hospitals, health systems, and outpatient clinics across the US. Their cloud-based platform is designed to improve provider workflows, reduce clinician burnout, and support interoperability in line with today’s regulatory and clinical demands.

They’re now looking to bring on a Director of Sales to help drive new business across the provider landscape and support national growth efforts.

The Opportunity:

This is a high-impact role for a commercially-driven sales leader who can own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching to closing multi-stakeholder deals. The Director of Sales will report to the VP of Sales and play a key role in expanding the company’s presence in the US healthcare market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business with hospitals, health systems, and multi-site clinics
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles involving C-suite, clinical, and IT stakeholders
  • Manage pipeline, forecast performance, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, implementation) to align on GTM strategy and customer needs
  • Represent the client at key industry conferences and customer meetings
  • Provide real-time market feedback to support product and commercial strategy

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5–8 years of enterprise healthcare sales experience, ideally within EHR, practice management, or related health IT solutions
  • Proven success selling into hospitals or health systems with deal sizes $100K+
  • Strong understanding of the US healthcare landscape, including provider procurement cycles and decision-making structures
  • Self-starter with a hunter mindset and ability to navigate complex sales processes
  • Comfortable in a high-growth, agile environment with evolving priorities

Bonus Experience:

  • Familiarity with interoperability frameworks (e.g. HL7, FHIR) or value-based care initiatives
  • Previous experience at a scaling health tech startup or Series A–C company
