$180,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr

Inviting applications for the role of Sales Director.

This role (remote based in Atlanta, GA) is responsible for growing our business through "hunting new logos" and originating new deals.

Responsibilities

  • Deal Origination: Responsible for opening business with new clients across various industries
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to shape business development strategies and approaches.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities that align to the organization's strategic focus
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with Business Units, Data-Tech-AI Function and Commercial/ Pricing teams to craft compelling proposals that effectively communicate the value of our services to potential clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached. Close deals in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Sales Management: Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, including pipeline updates, client interactions, and sales performance metrics. Provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums. Contribute to thought leadership by staying informed about industry trends and sharing insights with clients and colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the professional services industry. Experience with consulting firms or professional services selling managed services is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in doing a hunting role is a must have (may be relevant industry/adjacent industry)
  • Proven experience leading and closing end-to-end deals of $5M Total Contract Value or larger
  • Understanding of the professional services landscape focused on Finance & Accounting, Supply chain and Insurance, including market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to use tech tools / digitally savvy
  • Proficiency and familiarity with technology tools, platforms, and systems and understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts, applications, and technologies relevant to the individual's industry and domain.
