Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join a growth-focused team in the Northeast. You will build relationships with local business owners, identify challenges, and present Dempsey's rental solutions to drive new business.

You will be trained with Sandler Sales techniques, work with Account Executives on larger opportunities, and advance toward becoming a top-performing salesperson. Local travel and a strong results orientation are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-3 years of professional experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Competitive mindset with a desire to succeed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn through coaching.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and local business outreach.
• Connect with business owners and decision-makers to understand their challenges.
• Identify opportunities where Dempsey can improve a customer's image, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Present Dempsey's uniform and linen rental solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.
• Manage the sales process from initial conversation through signed agreement for designated accounts.
• Partner with senior Account Executives on larger opportunities while learning from experienced professionals.
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity within Salesforce.
• Manage your sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects.
• Achieve monthly activity, meeting, and revenue goals while continually developing your skills.
