Job Description:

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Account Management teams play a critical role in driving business growth by delivering innovative products, technical expertise, and customer-focused solutions while developing and maintaining strong, long-term business relationships.

We are seeking a highly motivated, commercially astute, and relationship-driven Regional Account Manager (RAM) to lead business development and account management activities throughout the Northwest region.

The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge, strategic sales capabilities, and strong interpersonal skills to build trusted customer partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver measurable business results.

Experience within renewable energy, data centers, and related industries—including wind, solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and electrical infrastructure is highly desirable.

Working collaboratively with business leadership, product management, engineering, and customer support teams, the RAM will align customer needs with TE Connectivity's strategic growth objectives.

This position also includes responsibility for managing contracted manufacturers' representatives throughout the territory.

Job Requirements

Technical Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer applications, technical requirements, business priorities, and emerging needs.
  • Promote TE Energy's low-, medium-, and high-voltage (LV/MV/HV) technologies and product portfolio, serving as a trusted technical resource and subject matter expert.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms, electrical contractors, and OEMs.
  • Identify opportunities to specify TE products and solutions within renewable energy, data center, and industrial infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to develop customer-focused solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Participate in proposal development, technical reviews, and commercial negotiations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and logistics teams to ensure project commitments align with customer expectations and agreed deliverables.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and project development materials.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify potential risks, and coordinate timely resolution of technical or delivery challenges.

Commercial Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory business plans that support revenue growth, market penetration, customer retention, and strategic account development.
  • Analyze market conditions, industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to inform commercial strategies.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through proactive customer engagement, prospecting, and targeted outreach.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with existing customers while developing new strategic partnerships.
  • Manage customer inquiries, quotations, quality concerns, voice-of-customer feedback, and technical requests through effective internal coordination.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations, commercial proposals, and solution-based recommendations.
  • Maintain an accurate and current pipeline of projects and opportunities across the territory, including coordination with broader Americas regional initiatives.
  • Use Salesforce and other CRM tools to manage customer relationships, forecast opportunities, monitor conversion rates, and maintain disciplined sales activity.
  • Develop and implement account strategies with clear objectives, timelines, and measurable performance indicators.
  • Lead and support contracted manufacturers' representatives through clear expectations, effective communication, and ongoing performance alignment.
  • Demonstrate commercial ownership by following through on commitments, anticipating customer needs, and driving opportunities from initial engagement through successful execution.
What your background should look like
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of eight years of relevant industry experience, preferably within energy, renewable energy, electrical manufacturing, contracting, or electrical distribution.

  • Proven ability to manage a geographically dispersed territory and work effectively in a remote environment.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned territory.

What Success Looks Like

The successful Regional Account Manager will be recognized not only for achieving commercial targets but also for the quality of the relationships they build, the ownership they demonstrate, and the confidence they inspire in customers and colleagues.

They will bring together technical credibility, commercial discipline, adaptability, emotional intelligence, and personal accountability to deliver results while strengthening TE Connectivity's reputation as a trusted industry partner.
