Job summary

Gong is seeking a Sales Development Representative in Austin to generate new business opportunities and build a world-class sales development team. You will engage potential customers via calls, emails, and social outreach to fuel the pipeline.

You will become a power user of Gong's platform, collaborate across teams, and help shape best practices while meeting activity targets and learning from leadership.

Qualifications

• Located within commuting distance to the Austin office.
• Must be able to be in the Gong office 3x per week (Mon, Tue, Thu).
• Sales or sales leadership experience a plus; passion for selling.

Responsibilities

• Raise awareness and generate interest for Gong through cold calls, emails, and social outreach to prospective customers.
• Schedule initial discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Meet or exceed daily activity minimums of 80–100 activities.
• Manage your own book of accounts and set the strategy for effective book management.
• Become a power user of Gong's platform.
• Provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the SDR role to SDR Managers and Sales Enablement.
• Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices.
