Job Summary:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in generating qualified sales opportunities within a defined territory. This role involves outbound prospecting through research, strategic outreach, and personalized messaging to schedule meetings for our outside sales team. The SDR collaborates closely with sales and marketing to identify targets, engage prospects, and grow the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and qualify prospective clients via multi-channel outbound outreach (phone, email, social media, video).
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to develop territory strategies, build target lists, and secure high-quality meetings with decision-makers.
  • Research organizations and contacts to personalize outreach and demonstrate Compass Group’s value.
  • Manage workflows and track performance using CRM and sales tools, maintaining accurate data.
  • Create compelling messaging with marketing assets tailored to prospect needs and industry trends.
  • Analyze outreach performance to refine strategies and share insights with the team.
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry updates, and competitors to enhance engagement.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, persistence, and adaptability in all interactions, balancing activity levels with personalized execution.
  • Exceed activity and conversion targets by applying sales skills, curiosity, and critical thinking.
