WiserAdvisor is seeking a Sales Development Representative to engage financial advisors and grow their businesses through Indyfin, their innovative platform. This fully remote role offers high autonomy, a generous compensation structure, and the opportunity for career growth within a rapidly expanding company.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at WiserAdvisor, you’ll be the first point of contact in introducing financial advisors and RIA firms to Indyfin, our reputation-building platform that helps advisors showcase client reviews and grow their businesses. This is a high-impact, front-line role that feeds the sales pipeline by generating interest, qualifying prospects, and setting high-quality meetings for our Account Executives and C-Suite.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to target the right prospects, communicate Indyfin’s value clearly, and ensure we’re engaging with firms that are a strong fit. If you love starting conversations, digging into challenges, and opening doors, this is the role for you.
Identify and engage financial advisors and RIA firms through phone, email, and social media
Craft thoughtful outreach that highlights Indyfin’s impact on trust-building and lead conversion
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to pass to Account Executives
Ask the right questions to understand firm size, goals, and current digital reputation strategy
Determine if Indyfin is a strong fit based on criteria like growth goals, marketing needs, and compliance restrictions
Schedule product demos and intro calls for the Sales team. Eventually you can lead this calls as well and take on more accounts yourself
Work closely with Account Executives and C-suite to align on target profiles and messaging
Provide feedback to Marketing and Product teams based on what you hear in the field
Use CRM tools like HubSpot to manage leads and track outreach
Meet weekly/monthly goals for outreach, meetings booked, and lead quality
Continuously test and improve messaging and outreach strategies
Develop a strong understanding of the financial advisor space and how our software meets their needs
2+ years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or similar role (bonus if in SaaS)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confidence and persistence in cold outreach and objection handling
Curiosity and coachability—you’re always looking to improve
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple prospects at once
Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or ZoomInfo is a plus
Experience selling to financial advisors or understanding the RIA space is a big bonus
