Qualifications

Job description

The Sales Development Representativeis an inside sales roleresponsible for engaging in outbound customer contact to generate new businessopportunities for Permobil. This role supports the Permobil outside sales teamby qualifying leads, promoting key product lines—including the TiLite Nashvilleultralight wheelchairs (X and Z), the Permobil Store, Power Assist, and Seating& Positioning—and coordinating activities that drive customer satisfactionand sales conversion.

This position can be remote, but will require some travel to our Lebanon, TN location.

Key Tasks

  • Outbound Customer Engagement: Actively reach out to potential customers to introduce and promote Permobil's key products, including the TiLite Nashville ultralight wheelchairs (models X and Z), Power Assist, Seating & Positioning, and the Permobil Store.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, research, and social media engagement.
  • In-Service Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule in-services in partnership with the Clinical Education and Sales teams to increase product awareness and generate demand.
  • Account Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding of new accounts, ensuring smooth setup, initial engagement, and effective hand-off to the assigned TSM.
  • CRM Management: Map ATPs (Assistive Technology Professionals) within the CRM and ensure all customer and lead data is consistently accurate and up to date.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain early-stage relationships with prospective customers, ensuring a professional and consultative first impression of Permobil.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), Directors of Sales, and cross-functional partners to ensure qualified leads, market insights, and strategic initiatives are effectively communicated and acted upon.
  • Strategic Support: Contribute to ongoing sales initiatives and market development campaigns to help expand Permobil’s reach and accelerate growth in target regions.
  • Reporting: Provide regular activity reports, leadconversion data, and market feedback to the VP & GM - Permobil Americas.

Your Background

  • Education:High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience:2+ years of experience in the complex rehab technology industry is a plus; sales experience strongly preferred but not required.
  • Strong sales abilities and a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for connecting with new people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to understandand articulate the benefits of Permobil's products and services.
