Sales Development Representative (REMOTE)

The Work

The SDR team makes initial contact via outbound calls and emails with prospective clients. We generate interest through conversations about our solutions, qualify prospects, and determine product fit. We drive the prospecting and lead engagement segment of the sales funnel at Lexipol. This position is fully remote and based in the United States.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will generate new business opportunities by making outbound calls and setting appointments for our SaaS sales team. You will be the first point of contact with potential customers, so a positive and professional attitude is essential. Success will be measured by your activity efficiency and effectiveness in generating interest and qualified appointments.

At Lexipol, our SDRs play a strategic role, following a needs-based solution selling process to heighten prospects’ interest in our offerings.

Key Focus Areas
  1. SDR Quarterly Revenue – Achieve/exceed quota targets (30%)
    • Create a prospecting plan in collaboration with SAEs.
    • Execute daily prospecting activities.
    • Follow the process: Plan, execute, assess, adjust, repeat.
    • Assess actions and behaviors, making pivots to meet objectives.
    • Cross-sell solutions to prospects.
    • Partner with Senior Account Executives to meet or surpass revenue goals.
    • Generate a pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
  2. Outbound Prospecting Activities (50%)
    • Make 50+ contacts daily via emails and calls.
    • Introduce solutions, qualify leads, and schedule meetings.
    • Research and identify new potential clients and decision-makers.
    • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
    • Align with sales and marketing strategies.
    • Enhance sales skills through ongoing training.
    • Conduct educational and needs assessment calls.
    • Schedule demos and build a consistent pipeline.
    • Document activities thoroughly in CRM.
    • Identify untapped revenue through referrals and networking.
    • Follow communication cadences with prospects.
    • Discover additional partnership opportunities.
  3. Needs-Based Assessment (10%)
    • Manage and review client policies and training goals.
    • Assess wellness resources and engagement effectiveness.
  4. Team Collaboration (10%)
    • Work with internal teams to optimize growth.
    • Communicate effectively across levels within Lexipol.
Minimum Requirements
  • 1-2 years in outbound sales or appointment setting, preferably in SaaS or tech.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs.
Preferred Experience
  • Track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent prospecting and telephone sales skills.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and trust.
  • Experience with public safety sales approaches.
  • Self-management of daily tasks and quotas.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Office applications.

Legal and Miscellaneous

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary $55,000, with OTE $70-80K, plus benefits including 401(k) with match and PTO.
