Job description

Join to apply for the Sales Development Representative role at SAFEbuilt.

SAFEbuilt is seeking an exceptional Sales Development Representative to sell outsourced community development services to municipal governments. This remote position involves building relationships with senior leaders in city and municipal government, construction companies, and facility owner operators to generate appointments, qualified leads, and sales.

Responsibilities
  1. Exceed appointment, lead generation, and sales targets.
  2. Generate qualified leads through outbound and inbound calls and emails.
  3. Develop and execute prospecting campaigns.
  4. Identify and develop sales opportunities, solicit new accounts, and provide technical information.
  5. Analyze competitors and market trends to identify sales opportunities.
  6. Gain in-depth knowledge of SAFEbuilt’s services and market through training and self-learning.
  7. Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and clients.
  8. Use selling tools effectively, including Salesforce, PARDOT, social media, and email.
  9. Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and adhere to company values.
  10. Contribute to a positive, client-focused, proactive work environment.
  11. Provide feedback to management for sales and marketing improvements.
  12. Maintain sales and client databases, and prepare reports and forecasts.
  13. Work independently, proactively drive results, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. College degree preferred, ideally in business, public admin, communications, or construction.
  2. At least 3 years of inside sales experience targeting businesses or government entities.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  4. Understanding of municipal environments and community development is a plus.
  5. Positive, energetic hunter mindset with a proven sales track record.
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  7. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and manage time effectively.
  8. Self-driven, results-oriented, with a sense of urgency for goal achievement.
Compensation

Base salary of $60,000 with On Target Earnings of $79,800.
