What We're Looking For

We're seeking a hungry, independent, and coachable salesperson who loves a challenge to help us grow our business in micro markets, focusing primarily on acquiring new clients and secondarily on expanding existing accounts. You will sell our theft detection software and smart cameras through outbound outreach and relationship-building. The role starts as a contract-to-hire during a trial period, which can be full-time or part-time based on your needs.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the company's growth and strategic direction.
  • Learn the operations of a rapidly growing startup and gain valuable experience in company-building.
  • Receive sales training from the Sales Director, who has over 7 years of professional selling experience and has been trained by industry experts.
  • Face daily challenges that promote personal and professional growth.
  • Opportunities for advancement into management and leadership roles for successful performers.
  • Increase revenue and expand unit deployment.
  • Educate yourself on Panoptyc's products and services.
  • Engage with warm and dormant leads within existing micro markets.
  • Master Panoptyc's sales methodology through dedicated training.
  • Explore and develop new markets for our technology.
  • Manage business development activities including cold calling, follow-ups, outreach via email and social media, webinars, conferences, customer visits, social media posts, and newsletters.
  • Track outreach effectiveness and sales metrics to optimize strategies.
  • Maintain and update CRM records.
  • Build and manage lead lists for the micro market industry.
  • Gather and share customer feedback for product improvement.
  • Document and refine the sales process.
  • Segment prospective customers and tailor outreach based on opportunity size and tier.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Qualities such as being hardworking, independent, competitive, fearless, coachable, ambitious, efficient, persevering, contrarian, eager to learn, empathetic, curious, high-integrity, responsive, assertive, entrepreneurial, and a good listener are valued over experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior sales experience is preferred but not necessary for success.

Job Details

  • Full-time position (40 hours/week).
  • Must be able to work during US Eastern Time hours.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary and benefits.
  • $75,000 – $90,000 OTE (No equity).
