Job summary

AMERICAN HERITAGE LENDING LLC in Irvine, CA is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our mortgage sales team. This in-office role is the entry point into our mortgage sales organization, working with Loan Officers to respond to qualified leads and develop relationships with prospective borrowers.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in sales, business development, customer service, or similar roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable making high volume of calls and managing time.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Encompass or other CRM/LOS platforms is a plus.
• Mortgage experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound and make outbound calls to leads generated through our marketing platform.
• Engage prospects, understand goals, and identify potential financing opportunities.
• Build relationships with borrowers and referral partners through regular follow-up.
• Qualify leads and collect initial borrower and property information.
• Educate prospects on mortgage lending solutions and offerings.
• Identify opportunities for Loan Officers and assist with moving prospects through the sales process.
• Schedule appointments and connect qualified opportunities with Loan Officers.
• Maintain accurate activity, notes, and follow-up in the CRM.
• Monitor pipeline and meet activity and performance targets.
• Develop new business and referral opportunities with internal teams.
• Collaborate with Loan Officers and Sales Leadership in a team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Monitor your pipeline and consistently meet activity and performance expectations.

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of sales, business development, customer service, recruiting, or other customer-facing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
