Danfoss Drives invites you to join the Sales Development Program in Loves Park, IL, to grow into a future sales leader. You will rotate through disciplines like DLS, Inside Sales, and Account Management, gaining hands-on experience with customers and markets while supporting energy efficiency and electrification goals.

You will develop sales and technical skills, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and expand your professional network through structured learning and global opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop a strong foundation in sales strategy, our technology and programs though our Sales rotational programacross various disciplines such as DLS, Inside Sales, Account Management and more.
  • Support customers by working with leaders to understand their needs and create tailored Danfoss solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Develop and execute account strategies, working alongside experienced sales teams to win new opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insightsto identify growth opportunities and support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—from engineering to marketing—to turn technical expertise into commercial success.
  • Grow your leadership and communication skillsthrough structured workshops, mentoring, and feedback-driven learning experiences.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field).
  • Growth mindset—you’re curious, adaptable, and see challenges as opportunities to learn.
  • Stronganalytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence others.
  • A genuineinterest in sales, technology, and sustainable innovation.
  • Previous experience in industrial sales, automation controls, orengineering firms preferred Willingness to travel and/or relocateduring program rotations as you grow your career.

    The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $70,000- $85,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
