Job summary

Staples offers a hands-on Sales Development internship in Lake Mary, Florida (onsite) from June 7, 2027 to August 20, 2027, an 11-week program for students actively enrolled at Rollins College and the University of Central Florida.

You will gain hands-on experience in sales operations, CRM usage (Salesforce), and AI-powered sales tools, with mentoring from experienced sales leaders and opportunities to work on strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Sales or Business Administration.
• Rising junior, enrolled as a full-time student with at least 12 credits.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong Excel skills with Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Development team in identifying and engaging prospective/existing business customers.
• Conduct account research to uncover opportunities, key contacts, and business insights.
• Assist with lead generation, qualification, and pipeline development activities within Salesforce and other sales tools.
• Participate in call shadowing, coaching sessions, and sales training.
• Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams on strategic initiatives.
• Support AI-powered sales tools and technology initiatives through testing and documentation.
• Present project findings and progress updates to stakeholders.
