Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is seeking a Business Development Rep to qualify leads and accelerate opportunities for Connected solutions. You will convert Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Qualified Opportunities and schedule customer appointments while traveling up to 10% as needed for internal meetings.
Responsibilities include handling high-volume lead work, meeting first-contact targets, and partnering with Sales to drive pipeline and revenue.
The Business Development Rep supports multiple regions in qualifying or accelerating opportunity for Connected solutions by converting Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Qualified Opportunities with scheduled customer appointments, which allows HMH to continuously improve outcomes of Demand Generation.
Travel: Requires some travel up to 10% (1-2 per year as needed for internal meetings)
Physical Requirements:
Salary Range:$45,000 to $54,000. Our salary ranges are based on national averages. This role also has a competitive bonus structure. We have wide ranges so we can be flexible and determine compensation based on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education and location.
