The Associate Partner is responsible for growing the ICLE business by leveraging their deep knowledge and expertise in education to identify K-12 school districts’ most critical issues, building comprehensive solutions, and developing scopes of work for districts that establish trust and a sustained relationship.
Business Growth:
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve quarterly goals and annual revenue target
- Consistently seek new ways to enhance ICLE services and practices to current and prospective customers
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement new sales strategies
- Stay abreast of education research and ICLE projects to provide in-depth knowledge to inform customer needs
- Collaborate with the partners and implementation directors to develop a comprehensive territory action plan annually
- Generate and track new leads to continue expanding the reach of the business
- Maintain positive and trust-based relations with partners to ensure a cohesive, respectful team culture
- Collaborate, where appropriate, with HMH Sales partners opportunities to address core, intervention, and other service needs that can enhance both ICLE and HMH connected solutions.
Close New Business:
- Identify and cultivate customer leads
- Schedule and guide a consultative discussion with customers
- Understand the demographic data of the district to demonstrate deep knowledge of their vision, strategic plan, assessment data, budget cycle, programs and potential issues
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of all ICLE practice areas in order to develop a comprehensive solution
- Build alliances and partnerships with regional, state, and national organizations through attendance and collaboration
- Uphold relationships with customers to ensure they remain satisfied, that their questions are answered, and that their needs are met
- Drive MSC attendance, both continued and new, to grow new and renewal business.
Generate New Business:
- Keynoting
- Networking with customers at strategic HMH events
- Publications: authoring books, articles, white papers, blogs, social media

- Proven ability to create and deliver high-level specialized presentations
- Travel (varies at different points in the year, but likely 50% across the year)
- Strong understanding of change theory
Must Have:
- Master's Degree
- 10 years experience working inK-12 education, District Leveland/or equivalent experience in Education industry
Nice to Have:
- Facilitation and delivery experience
Physical Requirements:
- Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
- The person in this position needs to move about inside the office.
- Constantly operates a computer.
- Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
- 40-50% Travel
Benefits and Salary Range:
Salary Range: $160,000 - 180,000 plus incentive plan. Our salary ranges are based on national averages. We have wide ranges so we can be flexible and determine compensation based on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education and location.
