Job summary

Inspired Closets Chicago is seeking a full-time Sales Designer to design and sell custom storage solutions to clients in the Chicagoland area. You will be part of a team that emphasizes high commissions, bonuses, and a performance-driven environment.

The role combines office and field activities, with a focus on turning consultations into completed projects while delivering excellent customer experiences. Prior sales success and interest in interior design are valued.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in sales with a record of success.
• Preferred prior B2C sales experience.
• An interest in interior design and home improvement.
• Spatial reasoning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience designing in CAD helpful.

Responsibilities

• Represent Inspired Closets at client appointments, and identify, evaluate and design solutions to meet the clients’ needs.
• Run an average of 5-8 client appointments per week.
• Close sales opportunities and meet or exceed all assigned metric goals.
• Maintain high quality standards and manage each customer’s project to completion.
• Follow and understand industry trends that include interior design, fashion and organization.
• Build relationships with clients and potential clients through networking opportunities.
• Create and manage a personal marketing plan.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings.
