Job summary

Casa de las Campanas is seeking a Sales Counselor in Rancho Bernardo to generate qualified inquiries and meet move-in goals. You will work with the Director of Sales & Marketing to plan lead-generation activities and quickly establish rapport with prospects.

You will conduct tours, address objections, and follow up to convert inquiries into residents. A strong background in sales within senior housing or healthcare is preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in sales/marketing preferred).
• Two years’ experience in marketing/sales.
• One year experience in senior housing or healthcare-related field.
• One year experience in hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lead-generation activities to meet move-in goals.
• Handle inquiries via phone or drop-in; establish rapport and discovery.
• Follow the LCS sales process and use Connection Sheets.
• Conduct property tours; overcome objections and close sales.
• Follow up with prospects to address objections/needs.
• Complete paperwork and data entry in the lead management system daily.
• Keep up-to-date on competitors and counter objections.
• Participate in in-house marketing events and community outreach.
• Support generation of resident and prospect referrals.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in sales/marketing preferred)

Pay Rate:

$35.00 - $38.00 per hour plus commissions

Who you are:

• Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to plan and implement lead-generation activities that result in generating sufficient qualified inquiries to meet move-in goals.
• Handle inquiries to the community via phone or drop-in. Must be able to quickly establish rapport and complete a thorough discovery to address prospect needs.
• Follow the LCS sales process and utilization of Connection Sheets.
• Conduct tours of the property. Able to effectively overcome objections and ask for the sale.
• Conduct personal follow-up with variety of prospects. Able to identify and make recommendations for addressing objections/needs.
• Complete paperwork and data entry into the lead management system on a daily basis.
• Keep up-to-date on competition including their strengths and weaknesses. Identify ways to overcome any objections.
• Actively participate in any in-house marketing events.
• Actively participate in generating resident and prospect referrals.
• Actively participate in any community outreach efforts.
