Job summary

1st St NW Technical Staffing is assisting a fast-growing engineering and manufacturing company in Minnesota with an immediate opening for a Sales Liaison. This direct-hire role supports the director of industrial sales, coordinating inside and outside sales activities and responding to customer inquiries on service, parts, and delivery matters.

The successful candidate will have an AAS degree, 2+ years in account management or related areas within manufacturing, ERP experience, and strong MS

Qualifications

• AAS degree preferred; business-related degree a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, or customer service within a manufacturing company.
• Experience working with an ERP system.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) experience.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate inside and outside sales operations under the director of industrial sales.
• Handle customer inquiries pertaining to Service Division – including parts work orders, shipping status, service & warranty work orders, installation work orders, damage claims, etc.

Duties:

• Under the direction of the director of industrial sales, facilitate inside and outside sales operations with internal resources
• Facilitate customer inquiries pertaining to Service Division – includes parts work order, shipping status, service & warranty work orders, installation work orders, damage claims, etc.
• Communicate status of parts, service, and customer requests to appropriate account manager and/or regional sales manager
• Monitor status of engineering drawings
• Communicate delivery status to customers
• Leverage internal resources to provide responses to technical questions

Requirements:

• AAS degree preferred (Business-related degree a plus)
• 2+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, or customer service within a manufacturing company
• Experience working with at ERP system
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) experience
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Salary: $54-56K
