Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Sales Coordinator for the Digital Energy business in a US branch office. You will identify and nurture opportunities from inbound leads while pursuing proactive outbound sales efforts.

Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, develop proposals, and manage Salesforce data. You will build relationships with key stakeholders and stay informed on Digital Buildings products and services to drive solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience communicating with stakeholders across sales cycles and technical teams.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical offers within Schneider Electric solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Staff: collaborate with the sales team, generate leads, set up meetings, assist in proposals, and support sales processes including Salesforce reporting and data entry.
  • Administrative duties: maintain meticulous records of interactions, generate reports, and support end-to-end pre-bid and post-sale activities.
  • Foster relationships with Digital Buildings units to enable cross-team collaboration and drive sales.
  • Build product knowledge of Digital Buildings to answer customer questions and guide recommendations.

Your mission:

Identify and nurture opportunity from inbound generated leads as well as focused, proactive outbound sales activity. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within your customer base and the Schneider Electric Business is fundamental to the success in role. You will be required to understand a technical offer and the part it plays in the wider Schneider solution for the customer.

Your main responsibilities:
  • Support of the Sales Staff: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, generate leads, set up meetings or presentations, assist in proposal writing, and provide support throughout the sales process. This includes Salesforce reporting, data entry, and opportunity creation.Outlining specific process maps to ensure expectations are met internally and externally. Develop a detailed knowledge of key Schneider Electric business systems – Studio360, Tableau, and bFO.
  • Administrative Duties: Keep meticulous records of customer interactions, purchases, and feedback. Use this information to generate reports for the sales team, assist with customer follow-up, and identify opportunities for improvement. These duties are to include end to end pre-bid and sales-to-operations support, including proposal planning and estimating, project bookings, pipeline management, process compliance, and liaison with other business functions (contract management, customer success management, operations, and procurement) to ensure business continuity.
  • Schneider Electric Navigation: Establish relationships with key individuals in the Digital Power, Secure Power, and Power System organizations to leverage cross-business unit collaboration. Facilitate connections between the Digital Buildings sales team with other applicable SE sales teams.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the features, benefits, and unique selling points of all Digital Buildings products and services. Use this knowledge to answer customer questions, provide recommendations, and drive sales.
About you:
  • Inquisitive nature with the ability to understand and digest technical information – experience in the electrical or mechanical industry advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and an enthusiastic person who enjoys speaking to customers.
  • An understanding of sales cycles and drivers.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications such as Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 74,400 - USD 111,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
