Job summary

Lyman Products in Middletown, CT seeks a capable sales/marketing support coordinator to assist in the execution of daily activities and strategic initiatives. You will prepare regular sales reports, coordinate distributor trade shows and RMAs, support shipping with chargeback reductions, and help with market analysis and pricing data.

You will also assist in new item setup for Amazon and other customers, perform competitive research, and maintain distributor communications.

Responsibilities

• Process RMAs for distributors.
• Aid shipping to reduce chargebacks and shortages/overages.
• Coordinate customer co-op programs.
• Perform market analysis: collect and report sales and price data.
• Assist in new item setup forms for Amazon and other customers.
• Conduct competitive research and data reporting.
• Proofread annual price lists.
• Provide administrative support to Lyman distributors.
• Learn Canadian and foreign customer shipment documentation.
• Maintain active communication with the Director of Sales and team.

Job description

• Assist Sales & Marketing Department to facilitate the overall goals of Lyman Products.

Essential Functions

• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly sales reports
• Coordination of all distributors shows and other trade shows
• Complete all distributors return material authorizations (RMAs)
• Aid shipping department for reducing chargebacks and shortages/overages claims
• Coordination of customer co-op program
• Market analysis: sales and price point data collection and reporting
• Responsible for completion for new item set up forms for Amazon and other customers as necessary
• Competitive research, data collection and reporting
• Assist in proofing of annual price list
• Administrative assistance with Lyman distributors
• Learn Canadian and Foreign customer shipment documentation
• Active communication with the Director of Sales & other team members

Qualifications include:

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales experience in shooting sports industry
• Advanced knowledge in Excel which includes pivot tables and V lookups and formulas
