Job summary

Balise Motor Sales in Springfield, MA is hiring an Automotive Sales Consultant to greet customers, capture interest, and manage CRM data. You will present vehicles, handle demonstrations, and drive sales through follow-ups and promotions.

You’ll participate in a 90-day paid training program with aggressive compensation; advancement paths lead toward management roles within the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.
• Gather customer contact & interest information and enter in the CRM.
• Maintain rapport with customers through trade-ins, inquiries, promotions and follow-ups.
• Deliver professional product presentations using knowledge of features, warranties and services.
• Stay updated on new product information and updates.
• Offer and accompany customers on vehicle demonstrations.
• Schedule and manage calendar for appointments and follow-ups.
• Attend daily sales meetings to support department goals.
• Maintain appearance of inventory on lots and showrooms.
• Qualify buyers by understanding requirements and interests.
• Close sales by addressing objections, negotiating price, completing contracts, and arranging delivery.

Job Description

• Greet customers in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.
• Gather customer contact & interest information from new customers and accurately enter in the CRM.
• Maintaining rapport with previous and potential customers by suggesting trade-ins, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns and promotions, and following up on all leads from various sources
• Professional product presentations to all customers by demonstrating knowledge of characteristics, capabilities, features, warranties and services
• Continuously build knowledge of new and updated product information
• Offer and accompany customers on demonstration ride(s)
• Schedule and maintain your own calendar for customer appointments and/or follow ups
• Attend and actively participate in daily sales/training meetings to assist in reaching individual and department goals
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of our inventory on the display lots and showrooms.
• Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements and interests
• Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales, negotiating price, completing sales or purchase contracts, explaining provisions, explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing, collects payment, delivers vehicle if applicable
• Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Environmental & Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
