Job summary

Reliance Matrix is seeking a sales professional to manage a group benefits portfolio for producers in Schaumburg, IL. You will sell and service group employee benefits, build broker relationships, and ensure profitable business within underwriting guidelines.

The role requires up to 50% travel and collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, with adherence to field and home-office procedures. A comprehensive benefits package and hybrid work options are provided for eligible roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of group employee benefit sales experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service group products to producers in the assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities and RequirementsResponsible for sales and service of Group Products to the producers within his/her assigned territory.Responsible for the sales of Company products, achieving sales goals by line of business.Responsible for the development of brokers within his/her sales territory.Adherence to established Field and Home Office administrative procedures.Adherence to company underwriting guidelines while soliciting and securing profitable business.Will provide service to policyholders and brokers as necessary.Assist the Regional Sales Manager in the general operation of sales office functions as requested.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Relevant Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.Must have a minimum of 3 years previous group employee benefit sales experience. This request may be waived for exceptional candidates from outside of the of the group employee benefit industry on a case by case basis.Ability to Travel: Up to 50%The expected hiring range for this position is $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 annually for work performed in the primary location (Schaumburg, IL). This expected hiring range covers only base pay and excludes any other compensation components such as commissions or incentive awards. The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be based on several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
