Job summary

Casco Bay Ford in Portland, ME is seeking a Sales Consultant to deliver exceptional customer service and drive vehicle sales. You will guide customers through financing options, arrange test drives, and explain vehicle features and terms, with a high earning potential of $75,000+.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Background check will be performed prior to starting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting customers entering the sales lot in a welcoming and helpful way
• Answering questions about particular vehicles and the financing aspects of buying them
• Helping customers become familiar with the cars they’re interested in by offering test drives and explaining features and requirements
• Helping customers sort out and process their financing and purchase options based on their specific situation
• Persuading customers to buy a vehicle in a way that leaves them feeling good about their choice
• Making sure the display cars are in good order and well cared for
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service and care to our customers. This is a high-income opportunity with a compensation potential $75000+.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Meeting and greeting customers who enter the sales lot or dealership in a welcoming and helpful way

• Helping customers sort out and process their financing and purchase options based on their specific situation


• Persuading customers to buy a vehicle in a way that leaves them feeling good about their choice


• Making sure the cars on display are in good order and well cared for


• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail


• Excellent communications skills


• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software

Job Requirements:

• Sales & Leasing professionals are required to have a valid driver's license in good standing


• A background check will also be performed prior to starting work with us

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Sales, vocational or technical school training preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting/standing and working on a computer


• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
