As a Sales Consultant, you will assist customers through the vehicle purchasing process, demonstrate vehicles, conduct test drives, and collaborate with the Sales Managers and Finance Department to ensure a smooth experience.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Sales or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.
• Comfortable working with customers in person, over the phone, by text, and through email.
• Ability to learn vehicle features, technology, and sales processes.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process
• Build relationships with customers and provide an exceptional dealership experience
• Demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles and explain features and technology
• Conduct test drives with prospective customers
• Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and previous customers
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activity in the dealership CRM
• Develop and maintain a strong customer base through prospecting, referrals, and follow-up
• Stay knowledgeable about current Ford products, available inventory, incentives, and promotions
• Work closely with Sales Managers and the Finance Department to ensure a smooth purchasing experience
• Meet or exceed individual and dealership sales goals
• Maintain professional communication and appearance
