Job summary

South Texas Auto Group in Texas is seeking a results-driven Sales Consultant to join a team of automotive sales professionals. You will own the sales process from prospecting to vehicle delivery and turn buyers into lifetime customers.

The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and staying up-to-date on inventory, market trends, and CRM software. Experience and prior sales training are a plus, with a rewarding compensation structure.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follow dealership sales process from prospecting to vehicle delivery.
• Own every aspect of the sales process (from new client prospecting to vehicle delivery).
• Present and demonstrate inventory.
• Review, update and manage daily inventory reports.
• Create and execute strategies for increasing market share.
• Prepare and review monthly plans with sales leadership.
• Maintain Customer Service Index, Gross Average and monthly units to dealership standards.
• Remain up-to-date on products, market trends and certification.
• Must be familiar with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software.
