Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Maui, part of Swickard Auto Group, is seeking a sales consultant who thrives on warm, guest-centric service and can learn Mercedes-Benz products quickly. You will guide guests through vehicle selection, conduct test drives, and build a lasting client base in a luxury Maui market.

No automotive background is required as training is provided; strong hospitality and guest-service orientation are highly valued. Competitive OTE and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• No automotive experience required; Mercedes-Benz brand and product training provided from day one.
• Luxury hospitality or high-end retail experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and identify what matters to them before showing a vehicle.
• Develop Mercedes-Benz product knowledge through paid training to guide informed buyers.
• Present vehicles and conduct test drives linking features to guest needs.
• Build and manage a client pipeline with disciplined follow-up via CRM.
• Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a transparent purchasing experience.
• Meet monthly targets for volume, gross, and CSI.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Welcome guests with genuine curiosity and warmth -- understanding what matters to them before presenting any vehicle
• Develop deep Mercedes-Benz product knowledge through paid training -- learning the full lineup, technology features, performance credentials, and the EQ electric portfolio well enough to guide an informed buyer confidently
• Present vehicles and conduct test drives that connect the brand's engineering and design to what each guest actually values
• Build and manage a client pipeline through consistent, disciplined follow-up and CRM use -- Maui's MB buyers refer the consultants who take genuine care of them
• Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a transparent, pressure-free purchase experience
• Meet monthly targets across volume, gross, and CSI
• Represent Mercedes-Benz of Maui and Swickard's hospitality standard in every guest interaction

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• No automotive experience required -- paid Mercedes-Benz brand and product training provided from day one
• Luxury hospitality, financial services, high-end retail, or consultative sales experience strongly preferred -- Maui's guest-service culture is world-class and backgrounds built on genuine hospitality translate directly
• Warm, authentic presence -- Maui guests expect a relaxed, unhurried experience and the consultant who matches that while guiding a confident purchase decision earns loyalty that lasts
• Self-motivated with a genuine drive to build a long-term book of returning clients and referrals on an island where reputation travels fast
• Comfortable with CRM tools and digital communication, or quick to learn them
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
