Job summary

Intrepid Travel in Golden, CO is seeking a Sales Consultant to support travelers and agent partners. This full-time, hybrid role requires working from the office 3 days per week with a rotating 7-day roster from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST, including weekends.

The starting salary is $24.00 USD per hour plus comprehensive benefits and employee perks. You will handle sales and customer service across phone, email, live chat, and social media and be responsible for accurate bookings and high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and/or customer service with ability to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Targets and KPIs driven; results-focused and thrives on wins.
• Excellent communication in English, both spoken and written; experience handling via phone, email, and live chat.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), and travel booking platforms.
• Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate bookings and customer files.
• Collaborative, team-oriented attitude; travel experience in travel industry is a plus.

This is a contact center environment where you'll handle a mix of sales and customer service interactions across phone, email, live chat, and social media. You’ll be responsible for maximizing sales and delivering exceptional service, developing deep product knowledge, and ensuring every booking is managed with care, accuracy, and attention to detail.

What you need to know:

This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Golden, CO office on a hybrid basis, with the expectation of working from the office 3 days per week. You’ll work a rotating roster across 7 days, with shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM EST and 8:00 PM EST, including weekends.

The starting salary for this role is $24.00 USD per hour for US-based candidates, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a range of awesome perks

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

• Experience in sales and/or customer service, with a proven ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Confidence working towards targets and KPIs - you're results-driven and love celebrating wins.
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English, with experience handling customer interactions via phone, email, and live chat.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CRM systems (ideally Salesforce), and travel booking platforms.
• Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in bookings and customer files.
• A collaborative, team-focused attitude, ideally with personal or professional travel experience and/or experience in the travel industry.
