Job summary

Mattress Warehouse in Columbus, OH is seeking Retail Sales Consultants to help customers select mattresses using bedMATCH, a diagnostic sleep system based on 18 measurements and personalized recommendations.

You will work a retail schedule including evenings and weekends, provide a relaxed, educational shopping experience, and grow with a family‑owned company that values service, teamwork, and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience preferred and a passion for helping customers.
• Ability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends (40–55 hours per week).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and assist with loading purchases.
• Familiarity with tablets and mobile POS systems.
• Experience with bedMATCH diagnostic system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a relaxed, low-pressure customer experience.
• Meet and understand customer needs to recommend products.

We are seeking highly motivated and successful Retail Sales Consultants to assist us in our continuing quest to provide exceptional service to our customers. With over 520 store locations and growing, we are a leader in the mattress industry for over 35 years and a family‑owned and operated company. You will confidently sell our premium mattress and bedding products using our proven selling process and cutting‑edge diagnostic sleep system bedMatch.

Preferred Qualifications

• Availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends (4–5 days per week, 40–55 hours).
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish or other languages is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset the showroom floor, and assist customers with loading mattress purchases.
• Provide a relaxed, low‑pressure, educational shopping experience that improves customers’ lives through sleep solutions.
• Experience with tablets, mobile POS, and our exclusive bedMatch system.
• Team‑oriented attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and understanding their needs.
