Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Consultant – The Carolinas Territory to lead our efforts in acquiring new business. As a Sales Consultant, you'll focus entirely on selling enterprise solutions to independent insurance agencies with 10-199 users. You will collaborate with Solution Consultants to demonstrate how our SaaS and cloud products help clients achieve their goals more efficiently. This full-time role offers a base salary plus commission with uncapped earning potential, requiring travel within North Carolina and South Carolina.

What You’ll Do
  • Represent Applied Systems at industry events and trade shows
  • Follow up promptly on leads from our Business Development Group
  • Identify new target areas and opportunities with the sales team
  • Maintain customer relationships post-sale to generate referrals
  • Engage prospective clients using a consultative approach to secure new logos in your territory
We’re Excited to Learn More About You
  • 3+ years of successful outside sales experience; SaaS and B2B technology sales preferred
  • Formal solution sales training is highly desirable
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, creative, and independent
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience

Additional skills or credentials that are beneficial:

  • Remote Work: Ability to work remotely from a home office in The Carolinas
  • Travel: Up to 50% within the territory
