Role Summary

As a Sales Consultant in the K-12 market, you will travel regularly within your territory to visit current and prospective customers, conducting in-person sales consultations with faculty, curriculum directors, and administrators. You will develop and implement plans to meet sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage in sales calls with school districts to present textbook and digital products.
2. Meet or exceed sales targets.
3. Drive new business growth within your territory.
4. Provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports using company tools.
5. Participate in networking opportunities such as conferences and industry events.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a proven record of sales success.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, electronic).
• Ability to develop and implement sales solutions.
• Effective relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues.
• Strong proficiency with business technologies, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office; Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and move up to 100 lbs with mechanical assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching, sales, or publishing experience.
• Experience with digital information delivery.
