Job Summary

As a Sales Consultant, you’ll help power business success with extraordinary HR by pursuing new prospects, sharing our value proposition, and selling TriNet’s solutions, including benefits, payroll, and HR services to companies with 5-99 employees within your territory. You’ll build your book of business, own your opportunities, and execute your sales process through organized activities. You will conduct sales meetings, write proposals, gain approvals, and present to decision-makers such as C-level executives and business owners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Develop an annual plan to meet targets within your territory, covering multiple states and industries.
  2. Build a pipeline of prospects through prospecting methods like cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and leveraging partners.
  3. Qualify opportunities by understanding target markets and decision-making personas.
  4. Establish trusted advisor relationships through consultative selling.
  5. Utilize a multi-step sales process with defined criteria and internal processes.
  6. Manage activities using sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo.
  7. Achieve sales quota by meeting activity metrics.
  8. Complete administrative tasks promptly.
  9. Demonstrate TriNet’s core values daily.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3+ years in B2B complex sales; PEO experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build a book of business and develop partnerships.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with MS Office and Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel within your territory.
Work Environment & Compensation

Remote or office setting with reliable internet. Salary range $75,000-$87,000 plus commissions. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), stock purchase, holidays, PTO, and more. For details, visit our benefits page.
