Job summary

Asurion in Sterling, VA is seeking a Senior Director, Sales Compliance to provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of the Sales Compliance program across carrier, retail, digital, and telemarketing channels. This role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and will translate consumer protection requirements into practical, sales-enabling guidance.

This senior, salary-based position requires exceptional cross-functional influence, executive communication, and demonstrated expertise

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or Bachelor’s Degree with compliance background.
• CCEP certification is a plus and 5+ years in direct sales compliance.
• Experience with FTC regulations and the TSR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage the Sales Compliance team with strategic priorities and goals.
• Build and mature the sales compliance program with policies, monitoring, testing, and corrective action.
• Report program performance and risks to the Chief Compliance Officer.
• Ensure FTC/TSR compliance and consumer protection across channels.
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting sales channels and enrollment flows.
• Oversee reviews of sales scripts, terms, and disclosures.
• Manage inquiries, examinations, and partner audits with Legal.
• Partner with business teams on product launches to embed compliance by design.
• Collaborate with carrier/retail partners’ legal teams on contractual obligations.
• Advise sales ops on complaint trends and remediation of issues.
• Oversee monitoring and testing programs including call monitoring and audits.
• Develop and deliver training for internal teams and third-party sellers.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards; escalate significant findings with corrective actions.
