Job summary

American Business Forms Inc. is seeking a Sales Compensation Administration Specialist in Minnesota to oversee commission calculations, rebate options, and GP splits.

You will ensure accurate data, maintain related systems, and provide support to sales teams and home office with financial reporting and compliance. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to balance data accuracy with internal customer service, and knowledge of accounting principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with five years’ experience in business, accounting and/or finance.
• Preferred: Associate degree in accounting with related experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and technical accounting skills.
• Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Validate and run daily commission processes from subsystem to General Ledger/ERP.
• Analyze daily commission data; fix miscalculations and maintain reports.
• Prepare and process manual commission entries as needed.
• Maintain rebate and GP split agreements with approvals and electronic signatures.
• Partner with sales to design optimal commission or rebate structures.
• Support SOS/ACES with rebate options, setup, reporting, payments, and docs.
• Onboard/deactivate commission setups for Sales Associates.
• Provide reporting on Sales Associate acquisition payments.
• Respond to inquiries on commissions, expenses, ledgers, payroll; prepare reports.
• Assist testing and validation of system enhancements and finance projects.
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly tasks for commissions and rebates; reminders in Outlook.
