Job summary

IASB Corp is seeking a Commissions Analyst in Glenwood, MN to oversee commissions, rebates, and payroll split arrangements for sales associates and third parties. You will manage monthly gross commissions, lead journal entries, and support SSPV setup while ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls.

The role requires an associate degree in accounting/finance with 3+ years of related experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, finance and/or business with minimum 3 years related experience
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, and/or finance with 3+ years related experience
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices, plus technical accounting skills
• Core competencies include attention to detail, organization, communication, teamwork, and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Manage, prepare, and process gross commission and rebate totals monthly
• Maintain payroll split agreements and ledger balances
• Provide training for new sales associates including commission and OES report education
• Prepare third-party commission payments monthly and as needed
• Verify and post journal entries related to commission payroll and related scenarios
• Oversee SSPV setup and related inquiries
• Provide ad-hoc reporting for sales associates or home office personnel
• Support inquiries about commissions, SSPV, sales expenses, ledgers, and payroll
• Assist in ESOP/fiscal year-end reporting and valuation processes
• Collaborate with Financial Analyst II on Qlikview reports and analytics
• Identify variances between commission subsystem and ERP system and correct them
• Test program and system enhancements affecting commission calculations
• Assist in reviewing commissions with Sales Associates and home office personnel
• Review GL balances related to commissions and gross profit
• Analyze gross profit models and commission splits; report anomalies to leadership
• Provide additional analysis as requested by sales associates or leadership
