Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of post-grad work experience in finance, compensation, or financial analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and extraction.
• Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, and analyzing reports in Tableau.
• High EQ with ability to de-escalate sensitive pay-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary analyst for sales compensation, querying large data sets using SQL and building interactive reports in Tableau.
• Manage and resolve incentive pay inquiries from sales reps with data-backed communication.
• Perform “what-if” scenario modeling and forecasting to ensure compensation structures drive desired behaviors.
• Research, interpret, and operationalize complex, evolving compensation plans and legal documentation.
• Navigate gray areas in compensation disputes by synthesizing context and delivering data-driven resolutions.
• Partner with revenue and finance leadership to refine existing compensation processes (≈30% of the role).
• Continuously evaluate data workflows to automate recurring reporting and improve calculation efficiency.
