Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sales Compensation Analyst:
- Calculate and process monthly manual commissions based on established pay plans
- Address and resolve commission-related inquiries from sales personnel in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized records of commission earnings, adjustments, and payouts
- Assist in audits of sales commission payments and conduct sales credit research to ensure compliance
- Support sales leadership in forecasting and budgeting commission expenses
Required Skills for Sales Compensation Analyst:
- 2-5 years in sales compensation, finance, sales operations, or a related field
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis)
- Experience with sales compensation software (e.g., Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Varicent, Anaplan)
- Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, SAP)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex compensation data clearly to stakeholders
